The key feature of this Stepwgn is its pop-up camper roof with an integrated tent. It completely changes the way you travel. No need to look for a hotel, rush back, or adjust to schedules. Raise the roof, and you have a ready sleeping space right inside the vehicle. A night by the sea, a morning in the mountains, a roadside stop under the stars — these are the moments that turn into family memories, retold for years.

From the 2nd to the 23rd, everyone who purchases a vehicle through Akebono automatically becomes a participant in the giveaway. No applications or lists — if you make a purchase, you are included. An additional ¥1,000 is added to each purchase during this period — a single mandatory rule for everyone to ensure fairness and transparency.

As always, the finale will be open and transparent. On the evening of the February 23rd, we will go live, and a special guest of Akebono will determine the winner during the live broadcast.

The Green Corner 2.0 platform (GC 2.0) continues to actively develop, becoming a more convenient and efficient tool for purchasing and selling vehicles in Japan.

What Has Been Improved

As part of the platform’s development, the following key improvements have been implemented:

• New photo standards — more details, cleaner images, and clearer presentation of vehicle condition

• Detailed videos with paint thickness measurements — transparent information on paintwork and body history

• Parallel listing in the One Price system — wider exposure and faster sales

• Enhanced promotion through the company’s social channels (Telegram, YouTube, etc.) — additional buyer traffic

• Optimized storage and sales processes — fewer manual actions, greater predictability, and better control

All these improvements are aimed at helping clients make decisions faster, assess vehicles more accurately, and plan next steps more efficiently.

1) Vehicle Storage on GC 2.0

For vehicles purchased from January 2026 onward:

Free storage period

• 4 months — 119 days
  (the purchase date is not included)

Paid storage

• 120–149 days — 500 JPY / day

• 150–179 days — 600 JPY / day

• 180–209 days — 700 JPY / day

• Thereafter — +100 JPY per day for each subsequent month

Storage fees are charged until the vehicle is physically dispatched from the warehouse.

2) Activation of GC Mode

After purchasing a vehicle, the “Activate GC” button remains available until the vehicle is delivered to the Toyama yard.

• Self-activation by the client — 15,000 JPY

• Activation via a manager after arrival at the yard — 20,000 JPY

If GC mode is not activated in time, the vehicle may be automatically assigned to the nearest available vessel and sent to the port.

3) Purchase Commission on GC 2.0

• Purchase with a deposit — 0 JPY

• Second and subsequent purchases — 0 JPY

• First purchase without a deposit — 10,000 JPY

Purchasing vehicles without a deposit is allowed.

We would like to inform you about the current status of vehicles located at the GC (Green Corner 2.0) site.

From our side, we aim to maintain the vehicle storage and sales process in a manner that is as transparent, convenient, and economically reasonable as possible for all participants. In this regard, we kindly ask you to pay attention to the following information.

At present, there are vehicles at the site whose storage period exceeds four months, with some vehicles remaining at GC for more than one year. In order to optimize warehouse operations, ensure timely shipment, and maintain proper storage conditions, we kindly request that you determine the further course of action for such vehicles before the first shipment of 2026, by choosing one of the following options:

• price adjustment (reduction) for sale, taking into account current market conditions and actual prices of comparable vehicles;

• re-listing the vehicle at auction;

• arranging export procedures.

Upcoming scheduled shipment dates:

• PTOLEMY 39 — contract closing: December 26, 09:00

• First shipment of 2026 — approximately January 8

In the event that no decision is made regarding a vehicle by the first shipment of 2026 and the vehicle is not arranged for export, a paid GC storage regime will be applied in the amount of JPY 15,000, in accordance with the applicable storage terms and conditions.

What is the essence of the new service?

After:

• you have paid all customs duties;

• customs broker services have been completed;

• your vehicle has been released from customs and moved to the Barkhatnaya TSW —

• you can apply for a storage package costing 2,000 RUB, which covers 10 calendar days of vehicle storage.

What does the 2,000 RUB include?

• Storage of the vehicle for 10 days

• Secured and guarded territory

• Simplified application process

• Ability to plan logistics and vehicle pickup in advance

Please note:
Until the vehicle is released from customs, it remains at the customs warehouse, where different (government-regulated) tariffs apply that are not related to the Barkhatnaya TSW.
Free storage under the broker service is valid for up to 7 calendar days at the customs warehouse.
On the 8th day and beyond, until the vehicle is moved to Barkhatnaya — charges apply according to the customs warehouse tariffs.
Only after the vehicle is moved to Barkhatnaya can the fixed-rate service be applied.

Example calculation:
Days 1–7: Free of charge (included in broker services)
Day 8: Charged at customs warehouse rates
Days 9–18: The fixed 2,000 RUB storage package at Barkhatnaya can be applied (10 days)
